After the factory fire in October 1961 new moulds had to be made which meant a chance to create a whole new range.  

 

Peter Carter-Page who worked as an animator for Disney was commissioned to create a range which is now very sought after and has a Disney charm about them.

Due to a copyright issue puppets made in the first year had a tag sewn into the puppet. These are more desirable.
